Artour Razgoev tenor
Artour was born in Yerevan, Armenia. From childhood he showed an interest in singing and since then he has sung in Armenia, Russia, Canada and Italy. His education in bel canto started in Toronto in 2000 and in 2002 Artour sang his first solo concert. He passed several Royal Conservatory of Music examinations with first class honors in music theory, harmony and music history, which helped him to uncover his talent in music composition. In 2007 Artour sang his first Tenor Recital and, with Toronto Opera Repertoire, sang the parts of Gastone in La Traviata and Borsa in Rigoletto both by G.Verdi, and Rodolfo in La Boheme by G. Puccini. In addition to Ukrainian, Russian and Armenian songs, Artour’s repertoire with the Shevchenko Ensemble includes Caruso (L. Dallo), Non Ti Scordar di Me (E. Curtis), Dicitencello Vuie (A. Valvo) and other popular songs.
