Tetyana Shkymba soprano

Tetyana was born and raised in Ukraine and graduated from the Music Faculty of the University of Dragomanova in Kyiv with a diploma as music teacher. She taught for a number of years in an elementary school in Cherkass Region, and later in a secondary school. Tetyana played violin and performed with the Ukrainian Ensemble Laskavo Prosymo. Since coming to Canada, Tetyana has been chorister and soloist with the Shevchenko Choir for five seasons and appears as soloist with the Toronto Mandolin Orchestra. She is also currently performing with Toronto Opera Repertoire.
