This year marks 75 years since the birth of the Shevchenko Male Chorus and the growth of this phenomenon into the Shevchenko MusicalEnsemble which in its prime numbered 125 singers musicians and dancers. Beginning as a small group of young men who loved their heritage and loved to sing the Ensemble shared its Ukrainian heritage as well as the musical culture of others with thousands throughoutOntario across Canada and in Ukraine.
